It was clean, safe, friendly. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, bakeries in the area. Very vibrant area.
Draft due to room design slams the doors very loud, if guests leave them open. That becomes very disruptive as wakes you immediately. If guests talk on the balcony or smoke that forces you to keep your balcony door close, as it is the same as they are doing this in your room. 15-20 min walk to the ocean front.

This hotel is great value for money. The prices are affordable and the basic amenities provided are adequate. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing local service recommendations. The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is situated on a quiet street but close to everything. The rooms have air conditioning, which is so important in the hot climate. Additionally, the breakfast offered is decent, with a variety of hot food, fresh fruit, and plenty of tea and coffee.
All was up to standard in this hotel.

The hotel was really very nice, clean and quite close to everything. They also provide a free transportation to the beaches and they pick you up in the evening. I was alone at the day requesting transportation, but they did it for me! It is quite close to the square with local food at the good prices, but also you can find some restaurants not far away. True that it is around 10 minutes ride to the sea shore, but if you look for something at the budget level, this hotel is for you! The stuff was also very-very friendly and very helpful. I'm happy that I've chosen this hotel.
Everything was good, I do not have any bad feedback about the hotel.

the room was big, you get 4 complimentary bottles of water, the reception ppl were very nice
no mini bar in the room, no telephone to contact reception and no elevator . we needed someone to help us to take the heavy bags to the second floor and eachtime we wanted to ask something we needed to go down and up. the place is 10 min walking from the center of everything (5 ave) - far away so we had to move after one night.

Our recent stay at Plaza Playa was fantastic. The location was perfect, close to the beach and within walking distance of all the attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight for us was the delicious breakfast provided, with a variety of options to choose from. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. we had a great experience at Plaza Playa and would definitely recommend it.

Everything about this place is great and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! One of the best things is they have free wifi not only at the lobby but in the room! Although it is not located at the center of Playa, Playa is a very small town and it's only 30 pesos for taking the taxi from Hotel Plaza Playa to the Collectivo stop or 5th avenue. The place is clean, quite, and we enjoyed the free breakfast! I will definitely come back to this place next time I go to Playa.

Fine hotel with good location and kind stuff, very clean.
yes, I could here the sound of voice of people in room next to mine and sound of shower. I mean this happen because of missing sound izolation not used during construction work. But it is problem of many hotels in Europe as well.

The hotel was clean, we got new towels every day. Location was ok, considering the price. It was about 6 minutes walk to fifth avenue and to the beach. The breakfast was good enough, but it was pretty same every day (papaija, melon, jogurt, juice, scrambled eggs, beanstew (or something like that), coffee, milk, cereals and bad pastries The hotel was similar as in the pictures, which was good!
There was noisy at the nighttime, even though the location wasn't in the fifth avenue. My partner thinks like that, but I slept well every night.

Free bottles of water. Breakfast. Location close to main points of interest (discos, beach, 5th Ave). Taxi is needed to get to bus station though. Free wifi.
Public bathrooms near the lobby were not kept clean and at night lights would automatically go off after a few minutes which left you sitting in the toilet in the dark. Internet connection did not work sometimes. There is a supermarket in front and it can get very noisy before midnight as trucks come in to deliver products. But who comes to Playa to sleep...

I stayed 10 days and had a great time. Staff is most helpful and friendly.
The wifi can be quite weak in some rooms. If this is important to you make sure to check that first and move to another room if needed. Foul odor comes up from shower drain when water is running.
